What law governs my betting contracts?

If you are a UK registered customer betting through the UK exchange your betting contract will be governed by English law. If you are betting against Betfair your betting contract will be governed either by Tasmanian law (if the event on which you are betting is an Australian event) or otherwise by Maltese law.
